This document describes how personal data is processed for users who visit mattiasaggiomo.com, in compliance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC.

2. DATA COLLECTED & PURPOSE

Technical browsing data

The site automatically collects technical data required for operation: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, date and time of access. This data is processed anonymously, is not linked to identifiable individuals, and is retained for a maximum of 30 days on Vercel Inc. servers.

Contact data

If you contact us via email, the data provided (name, email address, message content) is used solely to respond to your request. It is not shared with third parties or used for marketing without explicit consent.

Video data

The site embeds video players from Vimeo (Vimeo Inc., 555 West 18th Street, New York, NY 10011). Vimeo players load only after you accept them in the cookie banner or by pressing “Load video”. From that moment Vimeo receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under its privacy policy available at vimeo.com/privacy.

3. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

Technical browsing data is processed on the basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for security and proper site operation. Contact data is processed on the basis of pre-contractual or contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or the user's consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Loading the Vimeo video players is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code), which you can withdraw at any time from the Cookie Policy page.

4. DATA RECIPIENTS

Personal data is not shared with third parties, except in the following cases:

• Vercel Inc. (hosting and technical infrastructure)
• Vimeo Inc. (embedded video players)
• Legal obligation or court order

Transfers to the USA are governed by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of 10 July 2023) or, where applicable, by Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).

5. DATA RETENTION

Technical browsing data is deleted after 30 days.
Contact data is retained only as long as necessary to handle the request and, if a professional relationship is established, for the period required by fiscal and legal obligations (up to 10 years).

6. YOUR RIGHTS

Under Articles 15–22 of the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data (Art. 15)
• Request rectification (Art. 16) or erasure (Art. 17) of your data
• Request restriction of processing (Art. 18)
• Object to processing (Art. 21)
• Request data portability (Art. 20)
• Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior processing (Art. 7(3))
